The South Carolina commit started the season on the right foot with a home run offensively and 9 strikeouts defensively in a 15-0, Opening Day win over Fairhope. Favors then scattered 4 hits over 6.2 innings pitched with 0 earned runs and 12 strikeouts over the weekend to help the Orange Beach Makos go undefeated, win the Panama City Beach Tournament and start the year 4-0 overall.
