Mental Health America launches "Spread The Love" e-card campaign for Valentine's Day

Posted

In celebration of Valentine's Day, Mental Health America (MHA) is inviting individuals to join the fun with its "Spread The Love" e-card campaign, promoting not only love but also hope and support for mental health and well-being.

Participation in the campaign is simple and impactful. By selecting an e-card from MHA's collection, crafting a heartfelt message and making a donation of their choice to support MHA's mission, participants can send a delightful surprise to their loved ones while contributing to the organization's efforts in providing life-changing mental health resources.

MHA's goal is to achieve a $5,000 fundraising target by Wednesday,  Feb. 14 (Valentine's Day). Every contribution, regardless of size, plays a crucial role in advancing MHA's vision for a world where all individuals and communities enjoy equitable opportunities for mental well-being.

How It Works

  1. Visit classy.org/campaign/spread-the-love-2024/c555031
  2. Choose an e-card from MHA's collection.
  3. Write a heartfelt message.
  4. Make a donation to MHA in the amount of your choice.
  5. Press the send button and bring joy to two hearts - yours and that of your loved one!

Participants are encouraged to click "Dedicate my donation" to make their contribution in honor of their loved ones, creating a personalized touch to their e-card valentine.

Accepted payments can be submitted through PayPal, Venmo, credit card or bank transfer. Participants have the option to provide a one-time donation or enroll for monthly contributions.

While any donation amount is encouraged, the campaign emphasizes the importance of supporting MHA's initiatives, showcasing how donations of different amounts contribute to the organization's efforts:

  • $25 enables 20 individuals to take an online mental health screen.
  • $50 connects 1,000 people to Mental Health Month materials and resources.
  • $250 supports sending trained team members to outreach events.
  • $500 aids in connecting advocates across the country and visiting legislators to advocate for quality mental health care policies.

Beyond the fundraising campaign, MHA emphasizes that, regardless of one's relationship status, the organization provides resources to foster mental health, self-care and relationships. For individuals seeking to enhance their well-being this Valentine's Day, Mental Health America offers valuable resources at mhanational.org/spread-love.
