Special farm-to-table tortillas involving three south Alabama businesses is set to take the spotlight statewide and nationally with a feature on Simply Southern TV according to a news release.

Follow along the journey to see how these farm-to-table tortillas start and finish. Bayou Cora Farms, nestled in Bon Secour, cultivates heirloom corn and mills it into cornmeal, which serves as the foundation for the tantalizing tortillas crafted at E&H Tortilleria in Daphne. These tortillas then find their way to Rooster’s in downtown Mobile, where they are adorned with delicious toppings and served as delectable street tacos.

“I love how so many restaurants have a commitment to farm to table products, and I love to support these kinds of businesses. But I never expected to find farm-to-table tortillas,” said Simply Southern TV co-host Mary Wilson in the release. “The tortillas are so flavorful and have a much richer flavor than others I’ve tried. This is such a cool way for local businesses to support each other.”

The feature will debut locally on Sunday, March 24, at 6 a.m. on WPMI-TV 15 in Mobile and will subsequently be rebroadcast on the national cable network RFD-TV on Wednesday, March 27, at 3 p.m. Central time. Additionally, episodes are available for viewing on the show's website at www.SimplySouthernTV.net.

Simply Southern TV is a 30-minute program that celebrates Alabama's farmers, gardeners, makers, rural communities, and unique destinations, offering viewers an authentic glimpse into the heart of Alabama's vibrant culture and heritage.
