Kitty’s Kafe – WINNER

Kitty’s Kafe is a local hot spot, but visitors are welcomed like family. The menu is full of Southern-style dishes, from omelets and breakfast plates to benedicts, and also includes lunch, dinner and meat-and-three options.
3800 Gulf Shores Pkwy., Suite 100, Gulf Shores

Oso Early
Oso Early recently moved to Oso Bear Point but continues to serve all your breakfast favorites, now with a better view. Nothing screams “beach vacation” like enjoying beignets with a waterfront backdrop. The menu features a wide selection ranging from avocado toast to shrimp and grits. Oso is also accessible by boat, making it a convenient stop before heading out for a day on the water.
5749 Bay La Launch Ave., Orange Beach

Another Broken Egg Café
The only non-island breakfast on the Best of Baldwin 2023 list is in the heart of Fairhope. Another Broken Egg Café is a franchise eatery with locations as far north as Ohio and as far West as California. However, the menu showcases plenty of Southern staples, such as chicken and waffles and a crab cake benedict. For a sweet start and an energizing boost, try the biscuit beignets and a mimosa.
300 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope

Brick and Spoon
Brick and Spoon-Orange Beach offers a diverse menu that is sure to please your entire group. Customize your own bloody mary and indulge in options like bananas in pajamas or biscuits for two to kick off your day.
24705 Canal Road, Orange Beach

Ruby Slipper Café
Conveniently located across the street from the beach, Ruby Slipper Café is an ideal spot for breakfast before hitting the beach. Originally founded in Louisiana, this eatery offers a brunch menu featuring seasonal beignets and bourbon milk punch to cinnamon swirl pancakes.
24151 Perdido Beach Blvd., Orange Beach
