Drop crews a message of thanks

Posted

Looking for a way to thank the linecrews who came to our aid after Hurricane Sally left most of Baldwin County without power? OWA is offering that opportunity via a Thank You Message drop-off.

Over 1,400 linecrews from all over the southeastern U.S. came together to help in our communities, and now you can write a thank-you note to let them know how much you appreciate them. These notes can be as small as a card or as big as a poster - you decide. Drop them off at Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar & Restaurant or Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen, both in Downtown OWA, from 12 p.m. - 8 p.m. today through Sunday, Sept. 27.

OWA’s team will gather all the thank-you notes and create a “Wall of Thanks” at OWA for the linecrews.
