Due to the impact Hurricane Sally had on our area, the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce (SBCC) Job Fair, originally scheduled for Sept. 24, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14. The Job Fair will take place at the Foley Civic Center from 9 a.m. - noon and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. and is for local businesses needing part-time and full-time employees. The SBCC has partnered with Southwest Alabama Workforce Development Council (SAWDC) and the Foley Career Center to expand the promotion of this event to reach as many potential employees as possible.
At one location, in one day, a job seeker can potentially meet their new employer and be hired on the spot. Participating businesses will be released by the SBCC at a later time. Job seekers are encouraged to arrive anytime with resumes in hand and ready to walk away with a new job!
