Happy Easter weekend Baldwin County. There is a variety of events this weekend across the county for you to enjoy and not all involve the Easter Bunny. Kick off the weekend with live music in Fairhope or Easter fun in Robertsdale. On Saturday, enjoy a day of pickleball fun with the family in Gulf Shores or celebrate the humble strawberry in Loxley. Robertsdale Easter Festivities

  • What: Celebrate the Easter holiday with the Robertsdale community. Enjoy live music, crafts, egg hunt, games and food. The Easter Bunny will also be in attendance for photos.
  • When: Friday, April 7, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Garrett Park, 18080 Pennsylvania St., Robertsdale

Live at Five – Honey Island Swamp Band

  • What: Enjoy an evening of music in downtown Fairhope with the Live at Five Spring Concert Series. This week's headliner is New Orleans-based Honey Island Swamp Band with their version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Tickets are available at Eventbrite.com.
  • When: Friday, April 7, at 5 p.m.
  • Where: Halstead Amphitheater, 450 Fairhope Ave., Fairhope
  • Price: Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children.

Pickles 'N' Pizza Family Fun Day

  • What: The Gulf Shores Recreation Department is hosting a family-friendly pickleball event. All ages and skill levels are invited to meet other pickleballers, learn how to play with coaching from local experts and eat pizza.
  • When: Saturday, April 8, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Where: Gulf Shores Sportsplex Pickleball Courts, 19025 Oak Road W., Gulf Shores

Baldwin County Strawberry Festival

  • What: The annual Baldwin County Strawberry Festival is a tradition for families across Baldwin County. Enjoy a day of carnival rides, music, food and classic cars and tractors. The main event is the famous strawberry shortcakes.
  • When: Saturday, April 8 and Sunday, April 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Where: Loxley Municipal Park, North Hickory Street, Loxley

Bunny Hop 2023

  • What: Test your hop speed at the 12th Annual Bunny Hop 5K and Fun Run. Proceeds will benefit the Ann Reese Grote Memorial Scholarship which is given to a graduating senior at Gulf Shores High School and Orange Beach High School who is committed to service within their community. Trail Talk

  • What: Explore the biodiversity of the Mobile-Tensaw Delta with the naturalists at Meaher State Park. Traverse the park's winding trails and discover the plants and animals you see along the way. Bring a camera and binoculars and be sure to wear close-toed shoes. Meet under Pavilion 3.
  • When: Sunday, April 9, from 2 to 3 p.m.
