It's another full weekend! Spring is one of the busiest seasons on the Gulf Coast with lots of festivals and events happening before the summer steam arrives.

Kick off your weekend with a bowl full of strawberry shortcake in the name of a worthy cause. For 35 years the Baldwin County Strawberry Festival has been filling bellies with strawberries in Loxley. If you would like to take to the skies, head to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park for Kites Over Mobile. For the runners, joggers and walkers looking for a weekend event, why not get a little colorful at the Rainbow Run at OWA? Those are just a few of the amazing events that made this weekend's list.

If our list missed the mark for you, visit our event calendar at www.GulfCoastMedia.com for more events happening this weekend or beyond. Search for events by distance from your home city or vacation spot.
