Aaron, Crook earn victories for Baldwin County wrestling

Gulf Coast Wrestling Officials Association held in Gulf Shores featured athletes from three states

The Baldwin County High School wrestling team participated in the Gulf Coast Wrestling Officials Association Tournament in Gulf Shores that featured 143 wrestlers from Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi.

The Tigers had six representatives participate and two finished at the top of the podium. In the junior varsity division, Caleb Aaron won first place (165 lbs.) and Gage Brown (103 lbs.) came in fourth place.

In the varsity division, Joaquin Crook took first place (132 pounds), Nick Portis placed third (138 lbs.) and Kendreas Nelson finished in fourth place (215 lbs.). Brayden Schwartz (144 lbs.) also competed for the Tigers.
