Beta Chi Sigma will host its second annual Heart Walk at 5 p.m. on Feb. 26 at Baldwin County High School, located at 1 Tiger Drive, Bay Minette. The event is part of the organization's efforts to observe American Heart Month and is open to the public.

The free event aims to raise awareness about heart disease and stroke, offering attendees an opportunity to learn more about maintaining heart health. The event will commence with a welcoming address by a Beta Chi Sigma member, followed by insights on heart-healthy practices from a guest speaker. A moment of silence will be observed to honor those who have succumbed to heart-related illnesses.

Participants will then embark on a four-lap walk around the school premises, symbolizing support for Heart Awareness Month. Organizers emphasize the importance of physical activity in promoting healthier lifestyles, underscoring the event's goal to encourage individuals to adopt more active routines.
