C/MSgt. Arthur A. Zamprogano trained our Raiders team this year as the physical training special team's commander.

The events this year consisted of deadlifts, sprint drag carry, hand release pushups, medicine ball toss, tire flip, hand grenade toss, a tactical run and the most exciting event that cadets were looking forward to: the Humvee push. Teams were split into three teams: A team, B team and an alternate team. A team and B team participated, with the alternate team being there just in case a cadet got injured or was too exhausted to continue. Cadets spent a month preparing themselves for the intense physical activities that they would be doing that day. Cadets worked as hard as they could, and everyone gave it their all. Our groups even maxed out their scores some of the events, one example being the tire flip by A team. This event was a great bonding experience for all the cadets who participated, with cadets cheering each other on and helping their teammates power through all of the events. Though we did not place in this year's Argo competition (A team got eighth place, and B team got 28th place out of 32 teams), this was an amazing experience for all cadets who participated and allowed cadets to grow closer to their peers through struggle.

The AL-935 unit is made up of both Daphne and Spanish Fort high schools. This corps features 116 cadets from these two schools. This award-winning program has been running at Daphne High School since 1993. This year marks the 14th year of teaching by the senior instructor, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Goodlin, and the fourth year of teaching by the aerospace science instructor, CMSgt. (Ret.) Terrance. The corps, which has cadets who vary from ninth grade all the way to 12th, is led by Corps Commander Daphne Senior C/Lt. Col. Sevyn Smith.
