Community Lunch and Learns on non-surgical arthritis relief happening in Orange Beach, Spanish Fort

Arthritis, a prevalent condition affecting more than one-third of Americans, will be the focal point of informative sessions led by Dr. Keith Spain, a fellowship-trained non-surgical sports medicine specialist affiliated with Baldwin Bone & Joint. The events, titled "Non-Surgical Treatment Options for Relief of Pain from Arthritis," will offer valuable insights into non-surgical avenues for alleviating arthritic pain.

The first event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Orange Beach Senior Activity Center, located at 26251 Canal Road in Orange Beach. To ensure attendance at this complimentary lunch & learn session, interested individuals are urged to RSVP by April. 19 by phone at (251) 981-3440.

The second event will be held at the Spanish Fort Senior Center, located at 7361 Spanish Fort Boulevard on Friday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to noon. Those interested should RSVP at the Spanish Fort Senior Center Bulletin Board by May 8.

Dr. Keith Spain, a board-certified Family Medicine practitioner with additional certification in sports medicine, specializes in non-surgical approaches to treating orthopedic injuries and medical conditions in athletes across all age groups. With expertise in diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal ultrasound, minimally invasive procedures and regenerative medicine, Dr. Spain addresses a spectrum of issues, including arthritis, tendinitis, fractures, sports-related injuries and various musculoskeletal ailments.

Emphasizing a non-surgical ethos, Dr. Spain provides a range of treatment options aimed at relieving pain associated with diverse conditions. He is an active member of esteemed medical organizations such as the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and currently serves as the President of the Baldwin County Medical Society.
