If you enjoy getting a scare, there are many places where you can pay someone to spook you like the Graham Creek Nature Preserve's Haunted Trail or the Nightmare Chambers at OWA Parks & Resorts. But if you are looking for a little supernatural scare, we have a list of ghost tours on the Gulf Coast that will send a shiver up your spine.

BALDWIN COUNTY

Fort Morgan Historical Site

Dating back to the early 1800s, Fort Morgan has stood as the guardian of Mobile Bay and was an active fort during the Civil War, Spanish-American War, World War I and World War II. Join the members of Second Sight Paranormal TV for an equipped ghost and paranormal investigation at what some say is one of Alabama's most haunted places for a three-hour adventure. Ghost hunting equipment will be provided but guests can bring their own including audio equipment and digital cameras.

The 2023 Fort Morgan After Dark Ghost Investigations & Historical Haunted Tour is a ticketed event. Two dates are available, Saturday, Oct. 21, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 28, at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 per person and can be purchased at www.eventbrite.com.

Haunted Fairhope: Spirits & Cocktail Tour

If you enjoy a cocktail to calm your nerves after a spooky encounter, then the Taste of Fairhope's Spirits & Cocktails Tour is for you. On the tour, guests will dive deep into the haunted history of Fairhope, visit the historic Colony Cemetery and hear intriguing stories of Fairhope's ghostly past from the tour guide. The tour also includes themed drinks at each stop. The tour descriptions say to "prepare for an evening where history, hauntings and cocktails merge into one bewitching experience."

Haunted Fairhope: Spirits & Cocktail Tour is Friday, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m. This is a ticketed event. The tour lasts two hours, and guests must be aged 21 or older. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.tasteoffairhope.com.

MOBILE

Port City Ghost Tours

Mobile was founded in the early 1700s and is the oldest city in Alabama. Its history includes battles and has seen influence from the French, Spanish, British, Creole, Catholic, Greek and African settlers who have passed through over centuries. With a history that rich there must be ghosts and spirits bustling around town. Take a one-hour walking tour with stops at the Richards DAR House, Malaga Inn, Fort Conde Inn and other haunted locations.

Mobile's Original Ghost Tour

Load into a comfortable van for a tour around Mobile with stops at some of the most haunted locations in town. Mobile's Original Ghost Tours operates tours nightly leaving from the Mobile Welcome Center, or guests can be picked up from their Mobile hotel. Dark Secrets at Iron Hand

Secret History Tours offers a two-hour walking tour that takes guests through eerie corners of historic De Toni Square, one of Mobile's oldest neighborhoods. Bienville Bites

Bienville Bites Food Tours has four Halloween season tours on offer this month. Sips & Scares is a three-hour cocktail crawl that takes guests to experience some of Mobile's best cocktails and haunted landmarks. Bites and Frights is a four-hour tour that leads guests to some of Mobile's delicious food and bone-chilling history. If you prefer your hauntings during the day, then the Boo Brunch might be the tour for you. This three-hour tour is good for all ages and includes haunted stories and hauntingly delicious brunch foods. Last but certainly not least, Bienville Bites is offering a Halloween Trick or Trolley Tour Oct. 30 and Oct. 31. PENSACOLA

Pensacola History & Hauntings

Much like Mobile, Pensacola is a very old city with a lot of history.
