The Fairhope Pirates can add to their hardware case following a fourth straight Baldwin County team championship thanks to the top three shot putters, led by senior Deshaun Williams who earned Seacrest Furniture Athlete of the Week honors.

Williams’ shot put of 46’ 4” helped him move into sixth place all-time on the program leaderboards on athletic.net. Junior Patrick Harbin finished second with 45’ 1.5” and senior Tucker Petrus took bronze with 45’ as the Pirates earned a 38.5-point lead over second-place Spanish Fort (146). Williams added a 98’ 2” discus throw for 14th on Saturday.
