A trio of Baldwin County athletes were recognized with all-state honors by the Alabama High School Bowling Coaches Association after they finished their seasons at the AHSAA state championship meet.

Gulf Shores senior Rylan Stefankiewicz was named to the boys’ all-state team regardless of classification. The Dolphins’ top bowler from the South Regional Championship was a second-team honoree as well as a representative on the Class 1A-5A team.

Elberta junior Jon Devery Thomas joined Stefankiewicz on the Class 1A-5A all-state team and garnered his second consecutive all-state nod. An individual medal winner at state last year, Thomas helped the Warriors to their fourth straight state tournament this season with a 13th-place finish overall at regionals.

Orange Beach junior Mari Hayden Reeves was a key contributor to the Makos’ first undefeated regular season and earned a spot on the Class 1A-5A all-state squad. Reeves finished 12th overall at regionals to help Orange Beach punch its ticket to the state championship meet.
