Harry was born on Feb. 24, 1932, and he filled his 85 years with love, family and friends, and fun. He truly enjoyed life and the people he met along the way. He had a generous heart and always helped those in need.
Harry served his country in the United States Navy and Naval Reserve for eight years. During his time of service, he spent a year overseas and often told how he broke the ship's rules by having a picture of a woman in his locker - his newborn daughter!
Harry enjoyed the outdoors and hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved telling stories, and his family treasures all the tales Harry told of his time in the navy and his years of farming and shrimping.
