Island Wing Company in Gulf Shores and Daphne are now under new ownership. The Florida-based restaurant brand announced the change April 3.

The new owners, Raj and Jay Patel, have owned and managed hotels over the last decade and say they are bringing their experience in service and guest satisfaction to the brand.

“Working with customers and providing the best experience and service to them is our No. 1 priority,” Jay Patel said. “We are locals who have been coming to Island Wing Co. for years and have always found ‘The Island’ phenomenal, inviting and enthusiastic.”

The new ownership got straight to work and have already started increasing programming for guests, added new dishes and cocktails and have plans for more changes.

“Down the line, we plan to expand the store and add more seating plus an exciting lineup of recurring live music,” Patel said. “Additionally, we’re looking to bring some game room options and simply continue to grow these locations as hubs for our community and beyond.”

Island Wing Company has two Baldwin County locations: 3947 Highway 59 in Gulf Shores and 29740 Urgent Care Drive in Daphne.
