Just seven months after his Hangout Music Festival appearance in Gulf Shores, Louisiana rapper Kevin Gates is bringing his "Only the Generals" Tour to the Mobile Civic Center.

Gates has amassed millions of streams and views of his music and videos. His recent release "Plug Daughter 2" has accumulated 48.5 million streams, and the official music video, filmed in Puerto Rico, gives fans a glimpse of the El Yunque Rainforest and other areas of Puerto Rico.

"Only The Generals Part II" was recorded in Puerto Rico in celebration of Gates' family heritage.

"Only The Generals" Tour kicks off Oct. 6 in Portsmouth, Virginia, and arrives in Mobile on Dec. 2. The tour will also make a stop in New Orleans, Louisiana, Nov. 4. Tickets for the Dec. 2 show at the Mobile Civic Center Arena go on sale June 30 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at ticketmaster.com. or in person at the Mobile City Center Box Office located at 401 Civic Center Drive or the Saenger Theatre Box Office located at 6 South Joachim St. Tickets start at $39.50.
