King cake for a cause: Eastern Shore Medical Alliance annual king cake fundraiser in full swing

Posted

If you are looking to justify that king cake purchase, look no further than the Eastern Shore Medical Alliance (ESMA).

For over 20 years the ESMA has sold freshly baked Randazzo’s king cakes as part of its annual and biggest fundraiser. In 2023, 1950 cakes were sold which generated approximately $13,000. The proceeds benefit three local charities: Baldwin Family Village, Alabama Free Clinic and Under His Wings. This year’s goal is to sell 2,100 king cakes.

Skip the shipping fees and order your Randazzo’s king cake from the ESMA. The cream cheese-filled king cakes measure 12 inches by 16 inches and serve 20-25 people. The ESMA sells the king cakes for $33.

The last day to order your king cake is Jan. 17. King cakes will be ready for pick up Jan. 29-30 in the Thomas Hospital lobby.

To order your king cakes, email esmakingcakes@gmail.com or message the ESMA King Cakes Facebook page.
