Loxley woman arrest in connection with Bon Secour homicide

Posted

Tahjaneka Armstrong, 25, of Loxley, is in the custody of the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) and has been charged with murder.

The BCSO responded to a home in the Bon Secour community Friday, Sept. 15 for a possible shooting. Officer found 30-year-old Alemcy Saint Louis shot twice and deceased in the living room of the home.

The investigation led officers to a suspect, Tahjaneka Christina Armstrong, who was an acquaintance of the victim. An extensive search began to find and interview Armstrong.

Baldwin County Patrol Deputies contacted Armstrong Saturday, Sept. 16, at a hotel in Foley. She was arrested on an unrelated warrant at that time and questioned regarding the ongoing homicide investigation. Armstrong ultimately made statements connecting her to the shooting of Alemcy Saint Louis and was charged with murder, police reported.

Armstrong’s bond hearing will be later today.

The investigation is still ongoing. Any further information regarding this case can be forwarded to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
