Need to get rid of outdated technology or household electronics?

Your electronic junk can help United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile in a big way.

The Loxley Public Library is hosting an electronics recycling event on Saturday, April 15, from 8 a.m. to noon.

The event will take place at 1107 N. Holley St., under the water tower in downtown Loxley. This is a drive-through event. Just pull up, and volunteers will assist with unloading.

Items accepted for recycling include: computers, laptops, DVD and Blu-ray players, cell phones, tablets, home/office telephones and telecommunications equipment, cables (audio/video, HDMI, Coaxial, computer power cables), keyboards, old computer servers, flat screen TVs and flat screen monitors, printers and fax machines, microwave ovens, sealed lead acid batteries, copper wiring and household electrical appliances.

Tube TVs and tube computer monitors are not accepted.
Donations will help fund United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile Inc.'s programs for individuals with disabilities.
