Robertsdale Police seek suspect in neighborhood car fires

ROBERTSDALE, Alabama — The Robertsdale Police Department has released photos and surveillance video and are asking for the public's help to locate a suspect in a series of car fires that happened last month in a local neighborhood.

According to a release issued Tuesday, June 29 on social media Robertsdale Police received several calls regarding someone setting fires to three vehicles on the night of June 20 in the Gemstone Drive area of Loxley, which is located within Robertsdale’s police jurisdiction.

Police are looking for a man described as wearing white pants, a dark colored shirt and driving a dark-colored 4-door car, possibly a Toyota Camry as a suspect in the case.

According to the release, the suspect can be seen in surveillance video running from the scene of the crime and leaving in the described vehicle.
