Robertsdale senior Khalia Inglemon signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Mobile Ram track and field program after her time with the Golden Bears during a ceremony at the high school Friday, April 14.

Inglemon has been a three-year captain on the Robertsdale track team where she was the top point earner for the 2022 outdoor season. She’s a five-time state qualifier in the 200-meter dash and a four-time state qualifier in the 100-meter dash. In addition, she also qualified for the 100-meter dash at the USATF Alabama Junior Olympic Championships in 2019.

According to marks on athletic.net, Inglemon owns the Golden Bear school records in the 100-meter dash (12.58 at the 2022 sectional meet) and 200-meter dash (26.62 at the 2022 sectional meet) as well as was part of the 4x400-meter relay team that beat a five-year-old record (4:32.71 at the 2021 Jubilee Invitational).

In addition, Inglemon held the second-best 400-meter dash time (1:05.49 at the 2021 Baldwin County Championships) and the third-best long jump (14’ 4.25” at the 2022 Field of Dreams meet).

Inglemon also excelled on Robertsdale’s basketball team where she was a four-year varsity letter winner and a captain as a senior. She was named the Pre-Thanksgiving Tournament female MVP in 2022 before she was named the Matt Lanzer Award winner as the team’s player of the year.

When she takes her talents across the bay to the Mobile Rams, Inglemon will be joining an outdoor squad that has seen seven athletes punch their ticket to the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association’s championship meet with still a month before the event. At this winter’s indoor national championships, four Mobile athletes competed for national titles.

Although she signed to run cross country, Orange Beach’s Claire Atkins is also continuing her academic and athletic careers with the Rams after she cemented her commitment at a Jan. 18 signing.
