GULF SHORES — For the fourth year in a row, and the sixth time in the last eight tournaments, the USC Women of Troy stormed into Gulf Shores’ waters after winning the NCAA Beach Volleyball National Championship at Gulf Place Beach.

Graduate twins Audrey and Nicole Nourse brought home the final match to finish off a 3-0 sweep of the UCLA Bruins, who won the other two national championships since the NCAA sanctioned the sport in 2016. The Nourse twins finished their careers 12-1 overall at Gulf Place Beach and closed on a 10-match win streak to help USC improve to 31-4 in NCAA tournament duals.

The beach volleyball team became USC’s first to hoist four straight national titles since the Trojan men’s water polo team claimed six in a row from 2008-2013. Sunday’s win served as the school’s 136th national championship and the 113th NCAA title in program history. The 2024 beach volleyball team collected USC’s 38th overall women’s championship and the 28th NCAA title.
