On September 19, the Foley Police Department responded to 218 Tradewind Court to meet with a complainant. The complainant advised that his 17-year-old daughter had been over to her boyfriend's aunt's house, 218 Tradewind Court. While there, she ate some brownies.
During the evening she became ill. The juvenile's mother took her to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center Emergency Room. During the investigation, a search warrant was obtained for 218 Tradewind Court.
Brownies were found in the garbage and collected to send to the lab for testing.
Upon further investigation, Kimberly Richardson, 39, aunt to the boyfriend, confessed to baking marijuana into the brownies. Richardson was charged with chemical child endangerment.
