ORANGE BEACH, Ala. – The No. 5 Mobile Rams were upset by No. 12 Benedictine (Kan.) 5-2 Monday night in the second round of the 2016 NAIA Women’s Soccer National Championship at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Another upset victim was No. 4 William Carey (Miss.) dropping a 2-1 match to No. 13 Baker (Kan.).
No. 1 seed Spring Arbor and No. 8 seed Vanguard also advanced with Baker and Benedictine to the quarterfinals Wednesday with the rest of the field to be determined today.
Wave two of the second round continues today beginning at 11 a.m. with No. 2 seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) facing No. 15 Columbia (Mo.). Matches continue at 1:30 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at the gate. All-tournament passes are $30 for adults, and day passes are $10 for adults and free for children 10 and under with a paying adult. Fans may also purchase tickets for the semifinalist banquets at the Orange Beach Event Center at The Wharf. The semifinalist luncheon takes place on Thursday, Dec. 1 at 12 p.m. The championship match takes place on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m.
