ORANGE BEACH, AL - A shrimp boil at Anchor Bar and Grill to benefit flood victims in Louisiana raised nearly $12,000, but other parts of the event will push it past that number, according to Chef Jonathan Kastner.

Kastner also said 5 percent of the week's sales would be contributed to the amount as well as 50 percent of the sales from The Orange Beach Store which set up a table at the event.

A large crowd turned out for a shrimp boil and silent auction at Hudson Marina in Orange Beach on Aug. 21. Great food was flowing and there was generous selection of silent auction items donated from businesses and residents.
