A weekend crash has claimed the life of a Baldwin County woman.
According to a release issued Monday by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 14, Emily Marie Ellis, 18, of Lillian was traveling south on Soldiers Creek Road when her 2009 Toyota 4-Runner left the roadway and struck a tree.
Ellis, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Alabama State Troopers are conducting an ongoing investigation.
