Lena Amare, Liam Bickham and Cooper Brechman earned gold medals with first-place finishes at the AHSAA State Championships in Auburn last weekend. Amare and Bickham took home double gold with wins in the 100-yard free and 200-yard individual medley and the 100-yard backstroke and 100-yard butterfly, respectively, and Brechman won the 1-meter dive. Amare and Brechman are seniors at Fairhope and Bickham is a senior at Gulf Shores.
