Darwin “Boo Boo” E. Higginbotham, a lifelong resident of Fairhope, AL, passed away Friday, July 28, 2023, at the age of 61. He managed the King Cole Club alongside his mother, Big Mama. He is survived by his son, Chris Higginbotham of Fairhope; brothers, Dean Higginbotham of Point Clear and Larry (Vickie) Wilkinson of Daphne; and other relatives and friends. A celebration of Boo Boo’s life was held Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity.
