Illa V. Galloway, 86, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 20, 2023. Her parents were Willie and Evalee (Lindon) Brewer. Illa was born in Wolfe County, Kentucky, on April 13, 1937. She was united in marriage to John Galloway. Love is her legacy.
Illa is survived by her children, Paula (Richard) Huffman, Linda (Steve) Greenfield and Daniel (Nicholas) Haddox; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister; June Bowles; brother, Charlie (Corliss) Brewer; sister-in-law, Betty Brewer; and numerous family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; parents; daughter, Gwen Franklin; brothers, James and Russell Brewer; sisters, Wilda Smith and Virginia Brewer. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association in Illa's name. Funeral services at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home, 6850 Roosevelt Avenue, Middletown, Ohio 45005 were held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, from 10 – 11 a.m. The funeral services were at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Anderson officiating.
