Jean married local attorney W. Donald Bolton Jr. on June 4, 1971. They were blessed with 46 wonderful years of marriage, three children (Kate, Will and Jeb) and four grandchildren (Charlotte, Annie, Addie and Charlie).

Jean moved back to Baldwin County and started practicing medicine in 1979. For over 35 years, she cared for patients in Baldwin County, Mobile County and George County, Mississippi.

Inspired by her father, Jean had a passion for the practice of medicine. She loved the close personal connections medicine provided, and through her dedication to patient care, she instilled in her children the values of kindness, compassion and hard work.

Don Foster; her husband, Don Bolton; her three children, Kate Bolton Bonnici, Will Bolton and Jeb Bolton; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
