John L. Hinton Jr.

John L. Hinton Jr., 87 years old of Silverhill, Alabama, passed away after a long life well-lived.
Born in Richton, Mississippi, he travelled the world and called many places home, including Lincoln, Nebraska, Grand Forks AFB, Harwood, North Dakota and Omaha, Nebraska.
He served his country (USAF Lt. Col. - retired) and his family: wife of 58 years, Yuriko; his children, Don, Deborah, Linda and Lisa; his six granddaughters, Kristin, Brenda, Laura, Jackie, Mariko and Keishi; his brothers, sisters and many friends.
We will miss his gardens and the bounty they provided. The hundreds of trees he planted will continue to grow. We will remember his stories, and miss their many tellings and re-tellings.
A private family memorial will return John to his birthplace.
