Michael J. Corbridge, a native of South Bend, Indiana and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at the age of 80.
He drove an 18-Wheeler for over 50 years; he worked for Sand and Clay for 8 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce; he was a Notre Dame fan and an avid Alabama and Nascar fan.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Hayes Corbridge; daughters, Jennifer Corbridge Walker (Jim) and Lisa Hayes Cook (Bryan); grandchildren, Jamie Shockley (Terrence), Janelle Wenstrep (Mike), Jake Walker and Stetson Cook; five great grandchildren; brother, Richard Corbridge (Lynda) and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 16, 2023, at Fish River Baptist Church at 11:00 am. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am.
Burial took place Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Alabama State Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Spanish Fort, Alabama.
