Peggy Lee Spivey Poore, age 74, a native of Tanner Williams, Alabama and a resident of Daphne, passed away, Monday, Oct. 30, 2017.

Peggy married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, John M. Poore Sr., in 1962 and went on to attended Auburn University from 1962-1964, where she remained an avid fan till her passing. She was a member of City Hope Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Healln Spivey.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Johnny Poore Sr. of Daphne; two sons, Mike (Penny) Poore of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Matthew (Xinia) Poore of Hurley, Mississippi; two sisters, Katrina Dunn and DeLane Spivey, both of Mobile; two brothers, Ronnie Spivey of Atlanta, Georgia, Donnie Spivey of Wilmer; four grandchildren, Blake, Carter, Margaret and Dana; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, from 5 until 7 p.m., at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home in Daphne.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Nov. 3, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. from the Chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at the Alabama State Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, her family request donations be made in Peggy's name to the Children's Miracle Network or the American Cancer Society.
