Sylvia “Anita” Brantley, 91, a native of Mobile and a longtime resident of Daphne, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2023. Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Brantley; parents, Hiram, Sr., and Fannie Mae Maples; sister, Pearl Mathews; brothers, Hiram Maples, Jr., and Gerald Maples. She is survived by her children, Glenn Brantley, and Janet White (Phillip); grandchildren, Brianna and Ben Everett; sister, Carolyn Rogers; brothers, Donald Maples and Charles Maples (Cathy); many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.
Graveside services and interment were held in Memory Gardens of Fairhope, Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, at 10:00 am. The family received friends at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, from 9:00 am until the service time.
