Walter Moore Crook Jr., 77, a resident of Foley, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023.
Walter served a long career in law enforcement, within many different branches and roles within each branch. He served as the former president of the state and local chapter of the Alabama Fraternal Order of Police and most recently served as the local chaplain.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon G. Crook, Foley; daughters, Kimberly (Justin) Toche, Magnolia Springs, and Kortni (Chris) Kennell, Magnolia Springs; sister, Betty Norris, Montgomery, Alabama and Linda Godard, Fairhope; grandchildren, Katelyn, Kameron, Krystin and Kambell; great-grandchild, Annistyn; many nieces and nephews and other loving relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home Chapel, Foley. The family received friends at 9:30 a.m.
Interment followed in Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
