Michael Fowler was born in Dothan, Alabama on Oct. 28, 1948 and went home to the Lord on Sept. 18, 2018.
He graduated from Troy University and Auburn University. He was a resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama and was an active member of Gulf Shores United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John A. Fowler Jr. and Gwendolyn J. Fowler; as well as his brother, Larry Fowler, all of Dothan.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Pat; son, Patrick; grandchildren, Madalyn and Andrew, all of Gulf Shores; sister-in-law, Judy Fowler of Dothan; nephews and many cousins.
A celebration of life service was held at Gulf Shores United Methodist Church on Sept. 20, 2018.
